Visit of the President Xhaferi and the Assembly Delegation with the Stockholm Business School  

The President of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia, Mr. Talat Xhaferi and the members of the Official Delegation, Frosina Tashevska – Remenski, Ejup Alimi and Fadil Zendeli visited the Stockholm Business School.

In the framework of the visit, the President of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia and the Members were informed on the activities and the curriculums of the School but also discussed the current economic affairs with the representatives of this renowned institution established in 1909.

The Delegation was welcomed by Mr. Richardson, Director of Education of the School and the team of science researchers, who presented the work of the School and its curriculums, as well as the profile of students and diversities.

They also informed on the degree on academic titles gained during the education process as well as the further integration of the graduates in the society.

Mr. Richardson informed on the extraordinary cooperation with the Embassy of the Republic of Macedonia to Stockholm, especially in the framework of the Project on Media Visibility of the Republic of Macedonia. It is a research on the perception of the Swedish citizens to the Republic of Macedonia, as well as its culture, social and social dimension. 

The dedicated engagement of the Embassy of the Republic of Macedonia to the Kingdom of Sweden resulted in a joint project on the manner of promotion of the relations between Macedonia and Sweden, through the state diplomacy, as well as to the public diplomacy. These studies are presented before the academic public in Sweden and are a resource of further academic research.

The Dean of the School, Ms. Heningson, informed that the Stockholm University is one of the best academic institutions in the state whose students today are famous Swedish politicians, high state officials and businessmen.

The meeting also referred to exchange of views on the need of closer cooperation of the institutions in the area o economy education in the Republic of Macedonia, as well as development of the opportunity for exchange of professors, experts and student, especially through the Erasmus+ Projects, which connects the Stockholm University with several universities of the Balkan states.
