MEETING OF PRESIDENT XHAFERI WITH THE MINISTER OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS OF KINGDOM OF NORWAY, MR. BORGE BRENDE
Today, the President of the Parliament of Republic of Macedonia, Mr. Talat Xhaferi, held a meeting with the minister of foreign affairs of Kingdom of Norway, Mr. Borge Brende, who is in a one day visit to Republic of Macedonia.
Also present at the meeting were Mrs. Sonja Mirakovska, Deputy-coordinator of SDSM and the coalition; Mr. Ejup Alimi, coordinator of DUI and Mr. Afrim Gashi, coordinator of BESA.
President Xhaferi expressed gratitude for the help and supports that Norway, as an influential member of NATO gives to the Republic of Macedonia during the process of Euro-Atlantic integration and underlined that he will stand for a more intense parliamentary cooperation between the two states.
The Minister, while congratulating the function to President Xhaferi, highlighted the readiness to continue the close partnership between Republic of Macedonia and Norway, to share experiences and repeated the support towards the reformatory processes which should bring to approximation of the state to European Union and NATO.
