26 years ago, when the first budget of the Republic of Macedonia was adopted, we demonstrated before our public, above all before the economic entities, as well as the international public and financial organizations that we are capable to plan, adopt, fill and realize the Budget of the state.

ADDRESS OF THE PRESIDENT XHAFERI AT THE 138 IPU ASSEMBLY, AT THE GENERAL DEBATE ON THE THEME "STRENGTHENING THE GLOBAL REGIME FOR MIGRANTS AND REFUGEES"

Migration as a phenomenon is not a new occurrence; its existence dates back to the very beginning of the human civilization. Certainly the globalization process influences these migration flows making them more intensive. Thus, according to the statistics, today, around 258 million people or 3, 4% percent of the world population lives out of their states of birth.

Maybe it may sound unusual that at the very beginning of today's meeting of the Committee on Political System and Inter-Ethnic Relations, I will ask all of us the question, or if you prefer, the dilemma - is the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia moving in a direction that ensures full realization of the principles of contemporary parliamentarism and parliamentary democracy? Of course, the dilemma, or the question, concerns primarily the exercise of the oversight role of the Assembly over the executive branch.

Address of the President Xhaferi on the Occasion of 75 Years since the Holocaust of the Macedonian Jews – Deportation of 7144 Macedonian Jews to the Death Camp Treblinka  

One of the darkest period of the last century, and I would say in of the human civilization, is the Holocaust, when in the Nazis’ Camps over 6 million men, women, children and elders were killed in a most brutal manner only because they were Jews.
