k-transpor@sobranie.mkThe Committee on the Environment, Youth and Sport has a Chairperson and eight memebers from among the members of parliament of the Assembly and three members - scientists and experts.
The Committee considers questions regarding:
- promotion and protection against pollution of the environment, nature, air, soil and water;
- ensuring conditions for healthy environment;
- prevention of harmful noise;
- protection against ionizing radiation and other adverse effects on people’s health and lives and special security measures in a case of use of atomic energy;
- protection of flora and fauna against pollution;
- protection against pollution in transport and trade with explosive, radioactive and flamable liquids and gases;
- natural rarities in terms of protection and promotion of the environment;
- education of the youth and pupils and students’ standard;
- social security of the youth;
- encouraging intelectual, cultural and scientific activities among the youth;
- protection against the addiction illnesses and AIDS;
- development of professional sport, and
