33rd Meeting of the Committee on Agriculture, Forestry and Water Resources Management

The Committee on Agriculture, Forestry and Water Resources Management, on its 33rd Meeting from 31.03.2010 and on the first continuation of the 33rd  14.04.2010 meeting  as a competent working body reviewed the Information on Subvention and Development of the Apiculture in the Republic of Macedonia.

Mr. Perica Ivaniovski, Vice Minister on Agriculture, Forestry and Water Resources Management participated in the meeting as a representative from the Government of the Republic of Macedonia and elaborated the Information, underlining that in 2008 the Ministry on Agriculture, Forestry and Water Resources Management prepared program on development of this branch of farming providing special status and importance of its development. The Vice Minister also underlined that the Ministry prepares a new law, which is in government procedure, and that the MPs should provide their support through presentation of their suggestions and opinions.  Mr. Ivanovski stated that the efforts for subventions of the primary and organic apiculture, for which 93 million denars were allocated in 2009, are tending to grow, especially in the area of production of organic bee families. 

After the debate, the committee unanimously adopted the following conclusion:

The Committee on Agriculture, Forestry and Water Resources Management reviewed the Information on Subvention and Development of the Apiculture in the Republic of Macedonia and concluded that it should be submitted to the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia as an information for the MPs and together with the Draft-conclusions from the Union of apiculturists to be delivered, reviewed and adopted by the Ministry on Agriculture, Forestry and Water Resources Management.
