Meeting of Mr. Petar Pop Arsov and Mr. Aleksandar Spasenovski with mr. Jozef Daul  

In the framework of the visit to the Republic of Macedonia, the Chairman of the EPP, MP group of the European Parliament, Mr. Joseph Daul had a meeting with the Chairman of the Committee on European Issues, Mr. Petar Pop-Arsov and the Co-Chairman of the Joint Parliamentary Committee RM-EU, Mr. Aleksandar Spasenovski. 

The overall activities of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia were underlined, and in this framework the is the work of the Committee on European Issues and the Joint Parliamentary Committee RM-EU in direction of harmonization of the Legislation of the Republic of Macedonia with the Acquis Communautaire. The cooperation between the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia and the European Parliament, the perspectives of the Republic of Macedonia for membership of the Republic of Macedonia in the European Union; accomplishment of the remaining obligations from the EP Resolution, the real conditions in our state, as well as the possibilities for accelerating the accession process of the Republic of Macedonia were also underlined during the meeting. 

In the end of the meeting, it was concluded that the established contacts between the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia and the European Parliament should be intensifies and deepened.
