Delegation of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia, headed by President Mr. Trajko Veljanoski, on a visit to the People’s Republic of China

During the visit the President of the Assembly Mr. Trajko Veljanoski and the members of the Delegation will have a meeting with the Chairman of the National People's Congress of the People’s Republic of China Mr. Wu Bangguo, which will be the first meeting of Presidents of the national Parliaments of the two countries. The Macedonian Delegation will also have a meeting with the members of the Parliamentary Group for Cooperation with the Republic of Macedonia.

President Veljanoski will meet Mr. Han Qide, Vice-Chairman of the National People's Congress, and other Chinese senior officials.

President Veljanoski and the members of the Delegation (Ms. Silvana Boneva, Cvetanka Ivanova and Xhevat Ademi) will also visit Shangai, where they will attend the opening of the Shangai World Expo 2010. The Republic of Macedonia will be represented at the Shangai Expo with its cultural and historical heritage, as well as with its latest achievements in the field of economy, science and technology.
