Reviewed Draft-law amending the Law on Concessions and Other Types of Public Private Partnership 

The Committee on Economy from the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia, as a competent working body, on its 40th Meeting held on 8 April 2010, reviewed the Draft-law Amending the Law on Concessions and Other Types of Public Private Partnership, shortened procedure.  

The Draft-law was elaborated by the Representative of the Proposer, the Vice- Minister on Economy, Dr. Metodij Hadzi- Vaskov, who underlined that the proposed amendments provide precision definitions in several areas. 

The Vice- Minister underlined that this provides dynamics in the stipulated area, increasing the forms of economic entities and improvement of the area of attraction of potential economic entities and competition during the phase of public announcement. 

Mr. Marjancho Nikolov, Member of the Committee and the Vice- Minister on Economy, Dr. Metodij Hadzi- Vaskov participated in the Debate. 

After the debate, the Committee on Economy concluded that he Draft-law amending the Law on Concessions and Other Types of Public Private Partnership should proceed in further procedure in the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia.
