THE PRESIDENT OF THE ASSEMBLY OF THE REPUBLIC OF MACEDONIA MR. TRAJKO VELJANOSKI IN A VISIT TO SWITZERLAND
 
Parliamentary Delegation headed by the President of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia, Mr. Trajko Veljanoski, is in a working visit to Switzerland, marking the beginning of the cooperation of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia with the Swiss Confederation for the opening of the Parliamentary Institute, for which a Memorandum of Understanding was signed recently in Skopje.

During the visit to Switzerland the President of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia, Mr. Trajko Veljanoski, will have a bilateral meeting with the Speaker of the Council of State of the Swiss Parliament - Ms. Erika Forster-Vannini. 

President Veljanoski and Dr. Hubert Eisele, member of the Directorate of the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) will sign a Memorandum of Understanding.

During the three days visit the MPs from the Republic of Macedonia and Switzerland will have opportunities to exchange opinions on the functioning of the parliaments, especially in the area of transparency, openness and multi-lingualism at the meetings and discussions with Swiss MPs on different levels and at the meetings with experts from the state and other institutions. 

The Delegation headed by the President of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia, Mr. Trajko Veljanoski, is comprised of: Mr. Jani Makraduli - Vice-President of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia and Chairman of the Steering Committee of the Parliamentary Institure, Ms. Silvana Boneva - Coordinator of VMRO-DPMNE, Mr. Tahir Hani - Coordinator of DUI, Ms. Cvetanka Ivanova - Coordinator of SDSM, Ms. Roza Topuzova-Karevska - MP from LDP, Ms. Flora Kadriu - MP from ND, Mr. Kenan Hasipi - MP from DPTM, Mr. Žarko Denkovski - Secretary General of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia, and members of the Assembly Staff.
