ASSEMBLY OF THE REPUBLIC OF NORTH MACEDONIA

COMMITTEE FOR THE SUPERVISION OF THE APPLICATION OF COMMUNICATION INTERCEPTION TECHNIQUES BY THE MINISTRY OF THE INTERIOR AND THE MINISTRY OF DEFENSE

The Committee has a Chairperson, four members and their deputies.

The Committee considers questions regarding the:
- supervision of the application of the communication interception techniques by the Ministry of the Interior and the Ministry of Defense;
- lawfulness in the application of the communication interception techniques by the Ministry of the Interior and the Ministry of Defense in terms of their compliance with the Communication Interception Law;
- other issues pertinent to the Ministry of the Interior and Ministry of Defense related to the communication interception techniques.

The Committee reports to the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia on an annual basis, within two months from the end of the previous year.
