Mr. Ilija Dimovski, MP will participate in the 3rd Standing Committee of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean
Mr. Ilija Dimovski, MP and Head of the Delegation from the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia will participate in the 3rd Standing Committee of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean, organized in cooperation between the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean and the Parliament of Slovenia, in Ljubljana, the Republic of Slovenia on 15 and 16 April 2010.
During the meeting, the reports from the rapporteurs from the special working groups working in the framework of the 3rd Standing Committee of on: intercultural, inter-religious dialogue, migration in the Mediterranean, gender equality an education and the role of the universities in the support of the Activities of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean will be reviewed .
The meeting will be opened by Mr. Pavel Gantar, Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Slovenia, followed by speeches of eminent officials from the political and economic life in the Republic of Slovenia.
During the second day, the participants will visit the EMUNI University in Portoroz, where the Conference on University Education and the Role of the Universities in the Promotion and Support of the Activities of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean will take place.
Eminent professors from Slovenia, France, Italy, Palestine, Tunisia, Croatia, Portugal, Poland, Lebanon, Egypt and Netherlands will participate in this Conference.
