Scrutiny Debate on “Implementation of the Agreement between the Government of the Recipient County and the Government of the Country Providing Economy, Technical and Related Assistance”
The Foreign Policy Committee from the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia will have a scrutiny debate on “Implementation of the Agreement between the Government of the Recipient County and the Government of the Country Providing Economy, Technical and Related Assistance”
The purpose of the scrutiny debate is to monitor the implementation of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Macedonia and the Government of USA regarding: economic growth, democracy, local self-governance, education and activities in other sectors.
The Committee evaluates this debate as significantly important from the aspect of the results from the implementation of this Agreement, which is important for the citizens of the Republic of Macedonia, and from the aspect of the initiation of practical application of the provisions from the Law on the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia (Official Gazette of the Republic of Macedonia No. 104/2009) in the area of the scrutiny dimension of the legislative governance in our country.
The Vice-Prime-Minister of the Government of the Republic of Macedonia, Mr. Vladimir Peshevski, Ministers, Mr. Antonio Miloshoski, Mr. Nikola Todorov, the Congressman Mr. Earl Pomeroy, the Ambassador of USA to the Republic of Macedonia, Mr. Philip Riker and the Director of the Agency for International Development from USA, Mr. Michael Fritz will participate in the debate, provide their comments and answer Members’ questions.
The President, Vice-Presidents, Coordinators from the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia, as well as MPs who participated in the Program on Cooperation between the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia and the U.S. Congress are invited on this scrutiny debate.
