Meeting of the President Xhaferi and the President of the Global Council on Tolerance and Peace, Mr. Ahmed bin Mohamed al – Jarvan
The President of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia, Mr. Talat Xhaferi had a meeting with Mr. Mr. Ahmed bin Mohamed al – Jarvan, Global Council on Tolerance and Peace.
The President Xhaferi welcomed the delegation and expressed pleasure for the meeting with Mr. Ahmed bin Mohamed al – Jarvan, former President of the Parliament of the United Arab Emirates and current advocate for peace and tolerance in the world.
The President of the Global Council on Tolerance and Peace presented the Organization, its aims and founders, as well as the need from promotion of peace and tolerance. In this context, the Council plans to establish an International Parliament for Tolerance and Peace, inviting participants from more than 40 states worldwide. 
The Global Council on Tolerance and Peace invited the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia to delegate a participant in the International Parliament for Tolerance and Peace.
The President Xhaferi underlined that the Republic of Macedonia is an example for multiethnic society which cherishes the values of peace, tolerance and mutual respect, and that the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia shall review this initiative with attention.
