Protocol Meeting of the President Xhaferi and H.E. Laszlo Istvan Dux, Ambassador of Hungary to the Republic of Macedonia
The President of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia, Mr. Talat Xhaferi had a protocol meeting with the Ambassador of Hungary to the Republic of Macedonia, Mr. Laszlo Istvan Dux.
At the meeting, the interlocutors exchanged opinions on the bilateral and multilateral cooperation between the two states, and the Ambassador Dux underlined that Hungary supports the Republic of Macedonia on the path to the European Integration.
Ambassador Dux expressed appreciation for the selfless cooperation of the Republic of Macedonia in regard with closing the Balkan migrant route, where Hungary contributes in the border control.
The President Xhaferi underlined that the relations between the Republic of Macedonia and Hungary, on bilateral and on multilateral level are excellent, which is a strong basis for strengthening the economic cooperation. The good relations, absence of open issues and improvement of the legislative framework contribute in increasing the numbers of the Hungarian investments to the Republic of Macedonia.
At the end of the meeting, the President Xhaferi reaffirmed the open invitation to his Hungarian colleague, Mr. László Kövér to officially visit the Republic of Macedonia.
