The President of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia, Mr. Trajko Veljanoski had a meeting with the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey H.E. Arslan HAkal Okcal
The meeting was due to the donation of books from the Grand National Assembly of Turkey to the Assembly’s library and once again the highly developed friendly relations between the two states were emphasised.
Mr. Trajko Veljanoski, President of the Assembly of Republic of Macedonia stated that Turkey has always showed that it is a true friend to the Republic of Macedonia and we highly appreciate that.
Reminding of the visit by the President of the Great National Assembly of Turkey, Mr. Toptan, the President Veljanoski has particularly underlined the parliamentary cooperation on every level, and certainly in the overall bilateral relations, the Turk ethnic community has a special role and place.
The Ambassador of |Turkey, Mr. Okcal, expressing his gratitude for the meeting, stated that Turkey will develop the friendly relations with Macedonia, in which Turkey finds significant partner and subject for the stability of the region. Turkey fully supports European and Atlantic Integration of Macedonia, since that it will benefit Turkey and the whole Europe.
