Participation of the Delegation from the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia at the Session of the Inter-Parliamentary Union, in Geneva

Delegation from the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia will participate at the 121st IPU Assembly, held from 19th to 21st October 2009 in Geneva, Switzerland. 

The Delegation, headed by Mr. Trajko Veljanoski, President of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia and Head of the Delegation in IPU, includes Mr. Jani Makraduli, Vice-President of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia, Mr. Rafis Aliti, Vice-President of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia, Ms. Silvana Boneva, Mr. Goran Misoski, and Ms. Flora Kadri.

The Secretary General of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia, Mr. Žarko Denkovski will participate at the Meeting of the Association of Secretaries General of Parliaments, which will be held at the same period in the framework of IPU. 

The Inter-Parliamentary Union was established in 1889 and is the oldest multilateral political organization bringing together Members of Parliament from 153 countries and 8 international organizations. This global organization of parliaments from Geneva has a status of Permanent Observer in the UN.
