EU-USA Summit
The EU - USA Summit will be held in Washington tomorrow. Barak Obama will be the host to the Prime Minister of Sweden Fredrick Reinfeldt, representing the Swedish EU Presidency. The meeting will also be attended by the President of the European Commission José Manuel Barroso and the EU High Representative for the Common Foreign and Security Policy Javier Solana.
The Summit will focus on climate changes, the global economic and financial crisis and current external relations issues, particularly Afghanistan and Iran, as well as the new initiative for energy cooperation between the EU and the USA.
This meeting will be an opportunity for strengthening the relations between the EU and the USA, aiming to support peace, prosperity and democracy.
