Macedonian MPs meet with US Members of Congress
In the framework of the study visit to the United States Congress from 26th September to 3rd October, the Parliamentary Delegation consisted of Petar Pop Arsov, Cvetanka Ivanova, Andrej Petrov, Ermira Mehmeti and Safet Neziri, had meetings with the members of the US Congress David Price, Earl Pomeroy, Lois Capps, Rush Holt, Jeff Fortenberry, Charles Bustani, Jeff Fortenberry and Jim McDermott.
The Macedonian parliamentarians and their colleagues from the US Congress exchanged views and opinions regarding the political and economic situation in the Republic of Macedonia and the Region, as well as the participation of the Macedonian soldiers in the NATO Mission in Afghanistan. Congressman Pomeroy emphasized the role of the Republic of Macedonia in this mission and the appreciation of the USA for our participation.
During the visit, our delegation also had meeting with the Vice President of NDI, Shari K. Bryan, and with Georges A. Fauriol, Senior Vice President of IRI.
