MEETING OF Mr. OLIVER SAMBEVSKI WITH Mr. LLUIS MARIA DE PUIG
The Head of the Delegation of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, Mr. Oliver Sambevski, and the members of the Delegation today met with the President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, Mr. Lluis Maria De Puig.
The members of the Delegation and Mr. De Puig discussed the election of the new Secretary General of the Council of Europe and the importance of the Presidency of the Republic of Macedonia over the Council of Europe after 10 May 2010.
Also, the distinguished guest was informed about the situation in the Republic of Macedonia and the progress the country is making in fulfilment of the obligations and the commitments undertaken by the Republic of Macedonia when it joined the Council of Europe.
