39TH MEETING OF THE COMMITTEE ON AGRICULTURE, FORESTRY AND WATER RESOURCES MANAGEMENT
The committee on Agriculture, Forestry and Water Resources Management, on its 39th Meeting held on 23 June 2010 reviewed the Proposal for Amending the Budget of the Republic of Macedonia for 2010 and the Draft-law Amending the Law on Agriculture Activities (second reading).
The Meeting was opened and chaired by Mr. Nikola Kjurkchiev. Mr. Ljupcho Dimevski, Minister on Agriculture, Forestry and Water Resources Management attended the Meeting as a Government representative and Ms. Verica Prkovikj Attended this Meeting as a trustee from the Government of the Republic of Macedonia.
Ms. Prkovik in her elaboration underlined that the reshuffle of the Budget provides realization of the rate of 2, 5% deficit, which is a result of the disbalance of the projected and received incomes in the Budget. Interventions taken by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Resources Management refer to reduction of the expenses in the area of goods and services. She underlined that the policy of subventions in the agriculture production is maintained and the division of allocations for development of the agriculture is intensified.
The Committee on Agriculture, Forestry and Water Resources Management concluded that the Proposal for Amending the Budget of the Republic of Macedonia for 2010 should proceed in the further procedure in the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia.
Regarding the Draft- Law on Agriculture Activities, the Chairman of the Committee informed that in the timeline for amendments one amendment was submitted.
The Committee reviewed the amendment to Article 5 submitted by the MP, Ms. Blagorodna Dulik, and the amendment was unanimously adopted without debate.
The Committee on Agriculture, Forestry and Water Resources Management concluded that the Draft-law Amending the Law on Agriculture Activates (second reading) should proceed in the further procedure in the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia.
