45th Meeting of the Committee on economy
The Committee Economy from the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia held its 45th Meeting on 5 July 2010.The Committee on Economy as a competent working body reviewed the following laws:
1. Draft-law Amending the Law on Public Companies, shortened procedure- II reading
2. Draft-law on European Association- II reading
3. Draft-law Amending the Law on Craftsmen Activities- II reading
4. Draft-law Amending the Law on Caterers Activities- II reading
5. Draft-law Amending the Law on Trade- II reading
Dr. Metodij Hadzi-Vaskov, Vice-Minister on Economy participated in this Meeting.
- the Committee on Economy submitted one amendment on Article 1 from the Draft-law Amending the Law on Public Companies; this amendment was not adopted.
- In the time line for submitting of amendments stipulated by the Rules of Procedure of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia no amendments on the Draft-law on European Association were submitted.
- In the time line for submitting of amendments stipulated by the Rules of Procedure of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia, 11 Amendments on the Draft-law Amending the Law on Trade were submitted: 8 were not adopted and 3 were drawn back by the authorized proposers.
- the Committee on Economy reviewed but did not adopt the 4 amendments submitted on the Draft-law on Trade
- In the time line for submitting of amendments stipulated by the Rules of Procedure of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia ,3 amendments were submitted on Draft-law Amending the Law on Caterers Activities, these three amendments were not adopted by the Committee.
All five laws were preceded to further reading in the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia.
