54th meeting of the committee on european issues
The Committee on European Issues from the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia held its 54th Meeting today. The Information on the Realized Activities from the Program on Adoption of the Acquis Communautaire, revision 2010, for the period from 01.04.2010 to 30.06.2010 prepared by the Secretariat on European Issues, as well as the Draft-law on Crime International Cooperation- I reading proposed by the Government were reviewed on this Meeting.
Mr. Vasko Naumovki, the Vice-Prime Minister on European Issues addressed before the Committee and underlined that the dynamics for the harmonization of the Macedonian Legislation and the Acquis is continuous and that in the past period there is a great progress in all chapters of the National Program on Harmonization with the Acquis.
The Chairman of the Committee, Mr. Petar Pop Arsov saluted the on time submission of the Information by the Secretariat on European Issues and underlined that this Program is a proof of the transparent and responsible work of the Government of the Republic of Macedonia. Mr. Igor Ivanovski presented the opinion of the largest oppositional party underlining that the reforms and Euro-integrative process of the Republic of Macedonia are slowed down and that they are not moving in right direction.
Mr. Ibrahim Ibrahimi, Vice- Minister of Justice elaborated the need of adoption of the Draft-law on Draft-law on Crime International Cooperation from the aspect of its harmonization with the Acquis.
