Meeting between Ms. Teuta Arifi, Chairperson of the Foreign Policy Committee and the Delegation from the Foreign Policy Committee from the House of Commons from the Parliament of the Republic of Italy
Ms. Teuta Arifi, MP and Chairperson of the Foreign Policy Committee had a meeting with the Delegation from the Foreign Policy Committee from the House of Commons from the Parliament of the Republic of Italy.
Members of the Foreign Policy Committee participated on the meeting.
The Delegation from the Foreign Policy Committee from the House of Commons from the Parliament of the Republic of Italy was headed by the Chairman of the Committee Mr. Stefano Stefani. Mr. Donatino Marcon, Ambassador of the Republic of Italy to the Republic of Macedonia and the Members of the Committee: Mr. Piero Fosino, Mr. Genaro Malgeri, Mr. Francesco Tempestini and Mr. Marion di Napoli attended this meeting.
The Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia and the Parliament of the Republic of Italy have a traditional, positive and constructive cooperation, and this visit is another support for the efforts which are made by the Republic of Macedonia on its way towards EU and NATO.
The Republic of Italy continuously supports the Republic of Macedonia on its way towards EU And NATO, and also supports the concrete issues between Macedonia and its neighbours. The Republic of Italy supported Macedonia for the visa liberalization regime.
It was underlined that over 90% of the citizens of the Republic of Macedonia perceive their future and the future of the Republic of Macedonia in EU and NATO.
