Meeting between the Chairman of the Committee on European Issues, Mr. Petar Pop-Arsov, and the Delegation of the Grand Committee on European Issues from the Parliament of Finland
The Chairman of the Committee on European Issues, Mr. Petar Pop-Arsov and the Members of the Committee, Ms. Stanka Anastasova, Mr. Mile Pachemski, Ms. Silvana Boneva, Mr. Vancho Kocev, Mr. Mile Pachemski, Ms. Vladanka Avirovik, Mr. Vasko Shutarov, Mr. Aleksandar Spasenovski and Ms. Hristina Runcheva had a meeting with the Delegation of the Grand Committee on European Issues from the Parliament of Finland.
The Finnish Delegation was consisted of Mr. Eero Akaan Panttilä, Mr. Esko Kiviranta, Mr. Matti Kappila, Ms. Heli Järvinen, Mr. Antti Violanne, Ms. Elisabeth Nauclér and Mr. Peter Saramo, the Delegation was accompanied by the Ambassador of the Republic of Finland to Macedonia, H.E. Mr. Anri Heikkinen and the Embassy Secretary Ms. Kristina Roine
The Chairman of the Committee on European Issues expressed gratitude for the principle support which Finland provides to Macedonia, and in the same time concluded that this cooperation on parliamentary level is constantly promoted.
„This meeting is a positive opportunity for exchanging opinions which will assist the Republic of Macedonia in the European Integration Proces”, stated Mr. Petar Pop Arsov
The present debated on the issues of harmonization of the Macedonian legislation with the Acquis, the bilateral issue with Greece, the reforms in the judiciary, customs and the fight against the corruption.
