Meeting between the National European Integration Council and the Foreign Affairs Committee from the European Parliament
The National European Integration Council had a meeting with the Foreign Affairs Committee from the European Parliament (AFET), headed by Mr. Alojz Petrle, Head of Delegation and the Delegation’s Members.
The Chairperson of the National European Integration Council, Ms. Radmila Shekerinska, informed the guests on the work and structure of the Council.
It was underlined that the National European Integration Council works on the basis of consensus and that its goal is to prepare the Republic of Macedonia for its European Integration. The National European Integration Council organizes public debates whose aim is to provide wider debate in direction of adoption of quality laws and quality preparation for adoption of the obligations or EU Membership.
The Committee representatives stated that it is good to monitor but also to influence these events.
