Meeting between the Vice-President of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia , Mr. Jani Makraduli and the Delegation from the Foreign Policy Committee from the House of Commons from the Parliament of the Republic of Italy
The Vice-President of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia , Mr. Jani Makraduli had a meeting with the Delegation from the Foreign Policy Committee from the House of Commons from the Parliament of the Republic of Italy.
Ms. Vladanka Avirovik, MP and Chairperson of the Committee on Cooperation with the Parliament of the Republic of Italy attended this meeting.
The Delegation from the Foreign Policy Committee from the House of Commons from the Parliament of the Republic of Italy was headed by the Chairman of the Committee Mr. Stefano Stefani. Mr. Donatino Marcon, Ambassador of the Republic of Italy to the Republic of Macedonia and the Members of the Committee: Mr. Piero Fosino, Mr. Genaro Malgeri, Mr. Francesko Tempestini and Mr. Marion di Napoli attended this meeting.
It was underlined that the inter-parliamentary meetings are very useful for promotion of the Republic of Macedonia in EU and that the role of the Member of the Parliament from Italy is very significant for the Republic of Macedonia on its way towards EU.
The guests were interested in concrete issues: the economic crisis and its impact on the Republic of Macedonia and the trade relations between the Republic of Macedonia and the Republic of Italy and the areas where it can be improved.
It was underlined that the Republic of Macedonia is rich in with marble and that the Republic of Macedonia was importer of this marble.
Also, the Republic of Italy has got the best technology in the world and that it is a pity not to import Italian technology.
