Public debate ON” policies for promotion of the living environment in the Republic of Macedonia “
The National European Integration Council, in accordance with the recommendations from the Estimation in the Adoption of the Acquis Communautaire for 2010 and Annex 2, which is contained in the Estimation, organised a public debate on “Policies for Promotion of the Living Environment in the Republic of Macedonia” on 29 September 2010.
Ms. Sonja Lepitkova, Deputy-Minister on Living Environment and Physical Planning and Mr. Goran Stevchevski, State Advisor from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs provided introductory addresses.
Ms. Sonja Lepitkova, Deputy-Minister on Living Environment and Physical Planning elaborated the three draft-laws from the area of protection of the living environment, i.e. ratification of the Protocols to the Convention on Cross board Air Pollution from 1979 on heavy metals persistent organic polluting substances and reduction of the acidity, eutrofication and surface Ozone.
Ms. Radmila Shekerinska, Chairperson of the National European Integration Council, Ms. Silvana Boneva, Vice-Chairperson of the National European Integration Council, Mr. Dimitar Mirchev, Member of the Council and Representative of the Cabinet of the President of the Republic of Macedonia and Mr. Kiril Ristovski from the NGO “Florazon” provided their opinions and remarks.
