Scrutiny debate on: Implementation of the Law on Donations and Sponsorship in Public Businesses
The Committee on Culture, in the Framework of its 11th meeting, held the Third Scrutiny debate on: Implementation of the Law on Donations and Sponsorship in Public Businesses.
The Meeting was attended by the Chairman, of the Committee, Mr. Vasko Shutarov , the Vice Chairman, Ms. Liljana Zaturoska, and the Members: Ms. Roza Topuzova Karovska, Ms. Marinela Tusheva, Mr. Femi Junuzi, Ms. Vesela Chastoeva, Ms. Natasha Janevska, Ms.Cena Matevska and the Deputy Members: Ms. Sonja Cvetkovska, Ms. Aneta Stefanovska; the Vice President of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia ,Ms. Svetlana Jakimovska , Members of the Committee on Financing and Budget, the Committee on Education, Science and Sport as well as Representatives from NDI, USAID and civil sector. .
This Scrutiny debate was focused on the implementation of the Law on Donations and Sponsorships in the public businesses.
This debate is important from the aspect of the results of the implementation of the Law, which is important for the citizens of the Republic of Macedonia but also for the practical application of the provisions of the Law on the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia in the area of the scrutiny dimension of the legislative governance in our state.
Mr. Shutarov, Chairman of the Committee on Culture opened the Debate and briefly elaborated the Law on Donations and Sponsorship in the Public Businesses.
Mr. Mihajlo Manevski, Minister on Justice, Mr. Nikola Todorov, Minister on Education, Ms. Elizabeta Kancheska – Mileska, Minister on Culture, the Director of the Public Revenue Office, Mr. Goran Trajkovski, the Head of the Department of Donations in the Ministry of Finances, Mr. Borche Smilevski as well as the Mayor of the Municipality of Bitola, Vladimir Taleski, the as well as the Director of the Basketball Federation of the , Mr. Daniel Dimevski and Ms. Nikica Kusinikova from NGO Konekt provided their opinions and answers before the Committee.
