THE COMMITTEE REVIEWED THE DRAFT-LAW AMENDING THE LAW ON WATERS
The Committee on Agriculture, Forestry and Water Resources Management from the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia, on its 36 Meeting, held on 18 May 2010, as a competent working body reviewed the Draft-law amending the Law on Waters.
The Chairman of the Committee, Mr. Nikola Kjukchiev, informed the MPs that the authorised proposers did not submit any amendment in the timeline stipulated by the Rules of Procedure.
Mr. Jovan Lazarev, MP proposed the Committee to submit amendments replacing the formulation “ 1 January 2011” with “ 1 January 2012” from Article 1 of the Draft-law Amending the Law on Waters.
The Committee, with 1 vote “for” and 6 “against”, did not accept this proposal.
Mr. Marijancho Nikolov, proposed the Committee to submit amendments replacing the formulation “1 January 2011” with “1 September 2011” from Article 1 of the Draft-law amending the Law on Waters.
The Committee, with 2 votes “for” and 8 “against”, did not accept this proposal.
The Committee on Agriculture, Forestry and Water Resources Management precedes the Draft-Law Amending the Law on Waters in further procedure in the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia.
