the peace on the balkans is the condition for the stability of europe in general 

The Chairperson of the National Integration Council Ms. Radmila Shekerinska, had a meeting with Mr. Pierre Lellouche, Minister on European Issues from the Republic of France, the Ambassador of the Republic of France to the Republic of Macedonia, Mr. Jean-Claude Schlumberger, the MEP, Mr. Arnaud Danjean and Mr. Thierry Guichoux, Deputy Director of the Sub-Direction of the Balkan Europe

The Vice-Chairperson of the National Integration Council, Ms. Silvana Boneva the MPs Mr Petar Pop Arsov, Mr. Kenan Hasipi, Ms Flora Kadriu, the Member of the Council, Mr. Dimitar Mirchev as well as Mr. Slobodan Antevski, Mr. Alaksandar Krzalovski, Mr. Tome Kolev and Representatives of the Council participated in this meeting. 

Ms. Shekerinska welcomed the presence of the Minister on European Issues from the Republic of France, and informed the guests on the composition and the aims of the National Integration Council.  

Mr. Pierre Lellouche, Minister on European Issues from the Republic of France  underlined the good cooperation between the Republic of France and the Republic of Macedonia and underlined that France has always been present on the Balkan and that the situation on the Balkans has always been important. 

„Our aim is to provide stability and development of the Republic of Macedonia and the overall Balkans, with its Euro-Atlantic perspective” 

The uninterrupted euro-integrative process for the Republic of Macedonia is our key interest- underlined Mr. Pop Arsov.  

Our country is focused on two directions: enforcement of the reforms and solution o the bilateral issue imposed by our Southern neighbour.

France is  a friend of the Republic of Macedonia and assists the establishment of the democratic process, underlined Ms. Flora Kadriu.  

Participants expressed appreciation for the support and for the solidarity provided by France on the Macedonian path towards EU and NATO and underlined that the accession in the Union is a necessary process.
