The Republic of Turkey strongly supports the Republic of Macedonia in the process of the European Integration
The Chairman of the Committee on European Issues, Mr. Petar Pop Arsov and the Members of the Committee: Mr. Hajrula Mesini, Mr. Slavica Grkovska Loshkova, Mr. Panche Dameski, Ms. Hristina Runcheva, Mr. Vancho Kocev, Mr. Mile Pachemski, Mr. Igor Ivanovski, Mr. Andrej Zernovski had a meeting with the Committee on Committee on Harmonization with the European Union from the Grand National Assembly of the Republic of Turkey.
The Chairman of the Committee, Mr. Petar Pop Arsov informed the guests on the work and competences of the Committee and expressed his appreciation for the Republic of Turkey’s continuous support for the Republic of Macedonia.
The Chairman of the Committee on Harmonization with the European Union from the Grand National Assembly of the Republic of Turkey, Mr. Jusuf Zia Irbech underlined that the Republic of Turkey strives for Macedonia’s membership in NATO and acknowledgement under its constitutional name. In the same time the Republic of Turkey is historic and important friend of Macedonia with whom they are fighting for preservation of the peace and stability in the region.
The participants expressed hope that in the future there will be deepening and strengthening of the trade and cultural cooperation between the two states, as well as development of the historic tourism aiming to attract more foreign investments and to establish relations.
