macedonia has values which provide importnt role in EU
The President of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia, Mr. Trajko Veljanoski welcomed the Newly appointed, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Sovereign Military Order of Malta, H.E. Pavel Gierinski.
On the cordial protocol meeting, both sides underlined the friendly relations between the Republic of Macedonia and the Sovereign Military Order of Malta.
The Ambassador Gierinski underlined the priorities of the Order of Malta, as an influential subject in the multilateral diplomacy, especially for the global humanitarian and charity activities which benefit the sick and poor which are important for the achievement of the Millennium Development Goals of UN.
In this regard, the Ambassador Gierinski affirmed the future assistance of the Order of Malta for the Republic of Macedonia in the framework of the activities for charity benefiting the citizens especially the poor.
In the same time, Mr. Gierinski underlined the values of the Republic of Macedonia, which give the Republic of Macedonia an important role in the European Union. Those values are successful management with the differences of ethnicity, religion, culture and other values which are the basis of the European Union.
In this direction, Mr. Gierinski expressed the overall support for the Euro-Integrative path of the Republic of Macedonia expressing the preparedness for concrete assistance.
The President of the Assembly, Mr. Veljanoski expressed appreciation for the overall support which the Sovereign Military Order of Malta is providing to the Republic of Macedonia in the process of our EU integration.
The President Veljanoski underlined that our final European Integration shall happen and that it is a matter of time; that the Membership in the EU is a priority for all countries of the Western Balkan and that all citizens of the Balkan countries instead being focused on the political crisis, are focused on fast development of the economy and their standard.
The President Veljanoski underlined the openness of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia for further cooperation.
