INDONESIA- BASIS FOR MACEDONIA’S ENTRANCE IN THE ASIA MARKET
In the framework of the ceremony for handing over the credentials, the Extraordinary and plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to the Republic of Macedonia, located in Budapest, H.E. Maruli Tua Sagala, visited the Vice President of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia, Mr. Rafis Aliti.
The Ambassador was accompanied by his spouse, Ms. Elita Sagala, Mr. Dvi Vahju Vibovo, Minister Advisor on Political Issues, Ms. Patricia L. Salalahi, Second Secretary on Economic Issues, Ms. Ingrid Rosalina, Second Secretary on Protocol and Consular Issues.
H.E. Maruli Tua Sagala stated that Indonesia is a democratic state, which is an example the co-existence of democracy and the Islam. The motto of this state is- unity of the differences.
The Vice President Aliti also considers Indonesia as a true model of interethnic and interreligious relations, model of coexistence and tolerance among people which should be followed by all Muslim countries.
In the same time it was underlined that the relations between the two countries should be improved, especially in the area of economy. In this regard the contacts and meetings between MPs and businessmen of the two countries need to be improved.
Both sides agreed that Indonesia can be the basis for the Republic of Macedonia’s entrance in market of Asia, and vice versa, the Republic of Macedonia be the basis for Indonesia regarding the Western Balkan states.
