CROATIA CONTINUES TO SUPPORT MACEDONIA
The Chairman of the Parliamentary Group of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia for Cooperation with the Parliament of the Republic of Croatia, Mr. Fijat Canovski, today met with the President of the Croatian Parliament, Mr. Boris Šprem.
Also present at the meeting were the MPs: Ms. Blagorodna Dulić, Mr. Kenan Hasipi, Mr. Ljubisav Ivanov Dzingo, Mr. Talat Xhaferi, Ms. Vesna Bendevska, and Mr. Vlatko Gjorčev.
Welcoming the guests, Chairman Canovski said that the friendly meeting is an opportunity to exchange views and experiences in various fields, especially regarding EU integration.
Mr. Canovski expressed appreciation for the continuous support of Croatia on the path of Macedonia towards NATO membership, ahead of the Chicago Summit.
Both sides agreed that there are no open issues between the two countries, that the relations are friendly and should be further intensified, and that both countries share a common history on the Balkans.
