DELEGATION OF THE ASSEMBLY OF THE REPUBLIC OF MACEDONIA AT THE NATIONAL PRAYER BREAKFAST
From 30 January until 3 February a Delegation of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia, composed of the MPs: Mr. Vladimir Gjorčev, Mr. Jani Makraduli, and Mr. Nexhati Jakupi, is visiting the United States of America.
The Macedonian MPs participated at the National Prayer Breakfast, hosted by the US President Barak Obama.
During the visit, the parliamentarians met with the President of the National Democratic Institute, Mr. Kenneth Wollack, as well as with the NDI's Central and Eastern Europe regional director, Mr. Robert Benjamin.
On Thursday, the Macedonian delegation held meetings with several Members of Congress, including Mr. David Dreier, Mr. Robert Aderholt, Mr. Bill Pascrell, Mr. David Price, Mr. Eliot Engel, and Ms. Candice Miller.
Besides intensification of the relations between Macedonia and the United States, the issue of membership of the Republic of Macedonia in the Alliance was one of the main topics of discussion at the meetings.
