MEETING BETWEEN PRESIDENT XHAFERI AND ARMEND ZEMAJ
The President of the Assembly of the Republic of North Macedonia, Talat Xhaferi, received today the Minister of Health of the Republic of Kosovo, Armend Zemaj.
At the meeting, they discussed common topics and interests aimed at improving the health condition and the mutual professional communication, in favor of stability and sustainability, given the situation with the pandemic and the huge impact it has on the health and economic systems of all states. Only with joint and coordinated action of all stakeholders will it be possible to overcome the health crisis facing the world.
President Xhaferi, among other things, pledged to take steps to facilitate the movement of citizens from both countries, while respecting the opinion of professional bodies. He stressed that the Republic of North Macedonia welcomes the signing of the Economic Normalization Agreement between the Republic of Kosovo and the Republic of Serbia that took place in Washington.
Both interlocutors confirmed that the cooperation is at a desirable level and there is successful bilateral communication, trust and close political relations between the two neighbouring countries. They assessed that investing in future cooperation, that has a strong potential to strengthen bilateral ties in the interest of the citizens of the Republic of North Macedonia and the Republic of Kosovo, should continue.
