Meeting of the President Veljanoski and the Prime Minister of the Republic of Serbia, Mr. Aleksandar Vučić  

The President of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia, Mr. Trajko Veljanoski had a meeting with the Prime Minister of the Republic of Serbia, Mr. Aleksandar Vučić. 

At the beginning of the meeting, the President Veljanoski expressed his pleasure from the meeting and underlined that these meetings are a confirmation of the good bilateral communication cherished by the Republic of Macedonia and the Republic of Serbia. The President Veljanoski underlined the thus far excellent parliamentary cooperation between the two states, and the constant exchange of ideas and proposals.

The Prime Minister of the Republic of Serbia, Mr. Aleksandar Vučić expressed appreciation for the hospitality and underlined the friendly relations between the two states underlining the joint Session of the Government of the Republic of Macedonia and the Republic of Serbia. The Prime Minister Vučić informed the President Veljanoski on the discussions and the conclusions of today’s Joint Meeting of the Governments and the ratification of several bilateral agreements in different areas. These agreements will contribute in the improvement of the economic cooperation and the interlocutors agreed that this cooperation is of exceptional importance for the two states and their citizens. 

The interlocutors underlined that the two states should jointly work in direction of accomplishment of the priority goals of the states, the integration in the European Union.

The meeting referred to the current affairs in the states and openness and preparedness for regional cooperation and continuation of the friendship were expressed.

Vice Prime Ministers of the Republic of Serbia and Vice Presidents, Coordinators and MPs of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia attended this meeting.
