PRESIDENT XHAFERI MET WITH MR. VUJANOVIC, MR. PAZIN AND MR.ZENKA 

Within the official visit to Montenegro, President Xhaferi met with Mr. Zoran Pazin, the vice-president of the Government of Montenegro for political system and Minister of justice. 

The first official visit of the President of the Parliament of the Republic of Macedonia, Mr. Talat Xhaferi to Montenegro was evaluated as a confirmation of the excellent bilateral relations between the two states, relations which are constantly nourished. Underlining the political stability as a precondition for the economic development, both interlocutors agreed that the economic exchange has much more potential then the existing volume and expressed expectation that in the next period, there will be more intense economic cooperation which will have positive influence on the overall economic activity of both countries. Readiness for cooperation on joint infrastructural and energetic projects was expressed, as well as cooperation in the touristic sphere. 

Within the visit, President Xhaferi and the deputies Ademi and Dimitrievski met with Mr. Mehmed Zenka, Minister of human and minorities' rights. Minister Zenka stressed that Montenegro succeeded to overcome the challenges and achieved to make the minorities his allies for the strategic priorities. He underlined that the minorities gave a great contribution for the Euro-Atlantic integration of Montenegro, and it is a result of a mature politic that has been structured the correct way towards them.                                                                                  

Both sides emphasized the importance of the minorities' treatment for establishing relations of friendship and alliance between the states in the region. Although the minorities' demands are still not fulfilled to the end, it is worked constantly on them and the political partners have a sense for them, stressed minister Zenka. 

The Delegation of the Parliament of the Republic of Macedonia, led by the President Talat Xhaferi, also met with Mr. Filip Vujanovic, the President of Montenegro. President Filip Vujanovic, underlined that both countries are bonded with friendship ties and with no opened issues and they can serve as an example in the region for open and close cooperation. He emphasised the importance of the direct communication and in that regard, he evaluated the cooperation between the two Parliaments as extremely important. 

The President of the Assembly, Mr. Talat Xhaferi, extended sincere congratulations about the full-fledged membership of Montenegro in NATO underlining that this success is encouragement for us and that we hope soon to overcome the obstacles so the Republic of Macedonia can become the 30th member of the Alliance. The interlocutors exchanged views about the current situations in both states and the region and expressed hope that with the help of EU, within the frames of the Berliner process, there will be more infrastructural projects financed. 

From our side, the issue of renewal of the air line between Podgorica and Skopje was initiated, as well as the enhancement of the cooperation in the touristic sphere.
