THE PRESIDENT VELJANOSKI WELCOMED THE NEWLY APPOINTED AMBASSADOR OF THE PEOPLES’ REPUBLIC OF CHINA TO THE REPUBLIC OF MACEDONIA, MR. WEN JENSHUN
At today’s meeting, the President of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia, Mr. Trajko Veljanoski welcomed the newly appointed Ambassador of the Peoples’ Republic China to the Republic of Macedonia, Mr. Wen Jenshun and wished him success in his work.
The interlocutors agreed that the Republic of Macedonia and Peoples’ Republic of China have excellent bilateral cooperation, friendly relations and expressed their willingness for continuation thereof, with the assistance of the new Ambassador and work on new projects.
The Meeting referred to the successful projects realized in cooperation with the previous Ambassadors of Peoples’ Republic of China, such as the projects for construction of Miladinovci- Shtip and Kichevo – Ohrid Highways, which are supported and realized in cooperation with the Government of the Peoples’ Republic of China. These projects are an additional motivation for deepening the cooperation between the two states in all areas of mutual interest.
The Ambassador Jenshun expressed appreciation and conveyed the greetings and congratulated , on behalf of the President of the National Peoples’ Congress and on his personal behalf , the President Veljanoski on the re – election as the President of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia.
The President Veljanoski underlined the importance of the parliamentary diplomacy in the promotion of the good relations between the states and extended the open invitation to his colleague, the Chairman of the Peoples’ Republic of China, Mr. Zhang Dejiang to officially visit the Republic of Macedonia.
The President Veljanoski underlined the openness of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia for cooperation, as well as immediate and continuous communication with the Embassy of the Peoples’ Republic of China to the Republic of Macedonia.
