Meeting of the President Xhaferi and NDI Representatives
The President of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia, Mr. Talat Xhaferi, accompanied by the Secretary General of the Assembly, Ms. Cvetanka Ivanova had a Meeting with the President of the American National Democratic Institute, Mr. Kenneth Wollack; the Regional NDI Director of USA to Europe, Mr. Robert benjamin and the NDI Director for Macedonia, Mr. Chris Henshaw.
The mutual pleasure from the scope of the years long successful cooperation between the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia and the NDI was expressed at the meeting, as well as intention for further deepening thereof.
The President of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia, Mr. Talat Xhaferi expressed appreciation for the numerous initiatives for cooperation, among which, the establishment of the Parliamentary Institute. Mr. Wolack emphasised that NDI remains open for realization of the future projects and parliamentary cooperation.
The interlocutors expressed preparedness for intensification of the activities in the forthcoming period.
