PARTICIPATION OF THE PRESIDENT VELJANOSKI IN THE SPRING SESSION OF NATO PA 

The President of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia, Mr. Trajko Veljanoski participated in the Spring Session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the NATO in Budapest, Hungary. 

Upon the finalization of the parliamentary session, the President Veljanoski had a meeting with the President of Parliament of Montenegro, Mr. Ranko Krivokapic; the Speaker of the House of Representatives of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mr Sefik Dzaferovic and the Speaker of the Parliament of Georgia, Mr. David Usupashvili.

 

The Speakers expressed pleasure from the meeting and the opportunity to exchange opinions on the current challenges faced with by all states on the path to the integration of the NATO Alliance.

They have agreed that the Alliance should take more concrete measures to assist the aspirant states in the solution of the problems that obstruct their path to the Alliance. 

The interlocutors expressed openness and preparedness to assist each other selflessly. Also, they have underlined the parliamentary cooperation in the processes of integration, expressing pleasure from the so far regional cooperation. 

The President Veljanoski met the host of the Spring Session, the Speaker of the Hungarian National Assembly, Mr. László Kövér. The thus far successful parliamentary cooperation and great friendship between the states was underlined.
