ASSESSMENT OF PROGRAMMES FOR EDUCATING AND COMMUNICATING WITH THE PUBLIC IN THE REPUBLIC OF MACEDONIA IN COOPERATION WITH THE SERVICES OF THE PARLIAMENT IN THE SWISS CONFEDERATION
The Parliamentary Institute implements programmes for informing and educating pupils and students, civic organisations and the citizens in general. These programmes are carried out as seminars, debates and open days at the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia. In 2017 alone, more than 660 pupils and students and over 5000 citizens have visited the Assembly.
To evaluate the implementation of these programmes, 4 representatives of the Swiss National Council visited the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia from 19 to 21 March 2018. As part of the visit, the delegation attended two one-day seminars intended for pupils and high-school students with organised tours of the building and the premises of the Assembly.
