EXCHANGING EXPERIENCES BETWEEN THE EXTERNAL COLLABORATORS OF PARLIAMENTARY GROUPS IN THE ASSEMBLY OF THE REPUBLIC OF MACEDONIA AND THE REPUBLIC OF MACEDONIA SCHOLARSHIP HOLDERS IN THE BUNDESTAG OF GERMANY
A workshop on the topic: "Exchange of experiences between the Republic of Macedonia IPS scholarship holders in the German Bundestag and the external collaborators (assistants) of parliamentary groups in the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia", took place in the educational center of the Parliamentary Institute on February 16, 2017, in collaboration between the Parliamentary institute of the Assembly, the Association for Parliamentary Cooperation IPS - Macedonia and the German Embassy in the Republic of Macedonia.
The Secretary General of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia, Mr. Zarko Denkovski, the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany in Macedonia, Mrs. Christina Althauser, the Head of the Parliamentary Institute, Mr. Zlatko Atanasov and Mrs. Nita Starova, President of the Association for Parliamentary Cooperation IPS - Macedonia, delivered an address at the event.
Comparative models on the status, operation, financing and the funds necessary for the work of the assistants in both Parliaments were exchanged in the discussion. In addition, the needs of MPs were discussed as well as the scope of services necessary in the daily exercise of their function.
