TRAINING FOR THE SEVICE OF THE ASSEMBLY ENTITILED “RISK MANAGEMENT”
In order to develop a strategy for risk management, according to the Plan for the establishment and development of financial management and control of Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia, a series of workshops for senior officials of the Service of the Assembly will be organized.
The first workshop entitled ” Risk Management”, was held on 20 March 2017 in the Educational Center of the Parliamentary Institute and was delivered by the Head of the Public Internal Financial Control of the Ministry of Finance.
Regarding the reforms in the budgetary system which include implementation of strategic planning and monitoring of the realization of the aims of the program in the public sector, a relevant factor is also the process of risk management that developed simultaneously, particularly in the processes which are essential for realization of the strategic goals.
In order for risk management to become an integral part of the process of planning and decision-making it is necessary every budget user to build a culture in which risk management will become an integral part of the plan documents (strategic, operational and financial plans), and the communication of identified risks should become a practice upon which decisions will be made.
