The President of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia, Mr. Trajko Veljanoski will lay wreaths

Delegation from the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia, headed by the President of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia, Mr. Trajko Veljanoski and comprised by Mr. Jani Makraduli, Vice-President of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia, Ms. Natasha Janevska, MP from VMRO-DPMNE and Ms. Zumrete Jakupi, MP from DUI,  on the occasion of 2 August will lay wreaths on the monument of Metodija Andonov Chento, First President of the Presidium of ASNOM.

The President of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia, Mr. Trajko Veljanoski expressed his appreciation of the present high level of bilateral relations and underlined that both countries will share the fundamental European principles of regional cooperation and that in the future they will continue to cooperate in the framework of the Euro-integrative processes. The President, Mr. Veljanoski underlined the intensive parliamentary cooperation on every level and expressed gratitude to the Republic of Albania for its support towards our country for the integration in NATO and expressed hope that we will find a solution with the Republic of Greece as soon as possible, and that this will be a mutually acceptable solution which will satisfy both sides. Mr. Veljanoski stated that he hoped that the whole region would be part of the European family.

MEETING OF THE PRESIDENT OF THE ASSEMBLY OF THE REPUBLIC OF MACEDONIA, MR. TRAJKO VELJANOSKI AND THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF LATVIA, MR. VALDIS ZATLERS

The President Veljanoski emphasised the activities of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia regarding the harmonization of the national legislation with the Acquis Communautaire, and underlined the importance of the parliamentary and regional cooperation. The President expressed his expectation that the Republic of Macedonia will become a Member State of EU in near future and will open the accession negotiations with EU and, in this direction, he saluted the fact that the Republic of Latvia has the opinion that the bilateral issues such as our issue with the Republic of Greece should not be a direct condition for the progress of the Euro integrative processes.

The President of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia, Mr. Trajko Veljanoski met the President of the Republic of Croatia, Mr. Ivo Josipovik, in the framework of his first official visit of the Republic of Macedonia. Mr. Veljanoski underlined the continuity of meetings on highest level between the two states and our common determination to strengthen our bilateral friendly relations in the future

Pursuant to Article 43 paragraph (4) of the Law Assembly, the accomplished consultation with the Assembly and the Presidents of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia and the Coordinators of the parliamentary groups held on 6 and 8 July 2010, the review of the video recordings of the monitoring system in front and inside of the building of the Assembly Macedonia was done on the basis of the request of a group of MPs, as well as on the basis of aggregated information derived from the Interior Security of the Assembly regarding the events on July 1, 2010, I have decided to take the following measures

The President of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia, Mr. Trajko Veljanoski had a meeting with the MP from the governing party from Western Australia, Mr Antonion Krstichevik. The President of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia, Mr. Trajko Veljanoski expressed his satisfaction from the increased intensity of political cooperation on high level between the two countries and expressed hope that this cooperation will be strengthened through the cooperation between the MPs on every level
