FAREWELL MEETING BETWEEN PRESIDENT XHAFERI AND H.E. MIROSLAV TOMAN
Today, the President of the Assembly of the Republic of North Macedonia, Talat Xhaferi, had a farewell meeting with H.E. Miroslav Toman, ambassador of the Czech Republic to the Republic of North Macedonia.
At the meeting, the two interlocutors jointly concluded that the bilateral relations between the Republic of North Macedonia and the Czech Republic are at a high level and there is mutual interest and a real opportunity to enhance economic cooperation.
President Xhaferi expressed gratitude for Ambassador Toman's personal commitment to strengthening and advancing bilateral relations between the two countries and indicated that he expects the good parliamentary cooperation to continue with the new Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies of the Czech Parliament, Pekarová Adamová. We especially appreciate the continuous and strong support that the Republic of North Macedonia receives from the Czech Republic in the European integration process.
Ambassador Toman emphasized that the Assembly of the Republic of North Macedonia is an oasis of peace, stability and security, and that the President of the Assembly has the greatest role in achieving that. He pointed out that the Czech Republic will chair the Council of the European Union in the second half of 2022, giving priority to the enlargement of the Union to the countries of the Western Balkans.
President Xhaferi, presenting to Ambassador Toman a Recognition for the professional commitment and hard work he has invested in building and promoting sincere and friendly cooperation between the two countries, wished him further success and happiness on a personal and professional level.
