MEETING BETWEEN PRESIDENT XHAFERI AND H.E. WOJCIECH TYCIŃSKI
The President of the Assembly of the Republic of North Macedonia, Talat Xhaferi, met today with the Ambassador of the Republic of Poland, H.E. Wojciech Tyciński.
Congratulating President Xhaferi on his re-election, Ambassador Tyciński handed in a letter of congratulations from the President of the Senate of the Republic of Poland, Tomasz Grodzki, and a copy of the adopted Resolution in the Polish Senate on the situation in Belarus. He stressed that the Polish Embassy works in favor of good bilateral relations, stating that the Republic of Poland fully supports our country in the process of integration into the European Union and is against any conditioning of the Republic of North Macedonia during its membership negotiations.
President Xhaferi thanked for the continuous support that the Republic of Poland gives to our country and cited the Visegrad Group as an example of cooperation between neighbours and welcomed the experiences of that cooperation.
Xhaferi added that the Republic of North Macedonia appreciates the assistance from the Republic of Poland in dealing with the migrant crisis on our southern border and gladly accepted Ambassador Tyciński's request for the exhibition on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the Visegrad Group to be held at the Assembly of the Republic of North Macedonia in February, next year.
