PRESIDENT XHAFERI AT A TRADITIONAL RECEPTION WITH ARCHBISHOP STEFAN
Today, the President of the Assembly of the Republic of North Macedonia, Talat Xhaferi, at the invitation of the Head of the Macedonian Orthodox Church – Ohrid Archbishopric, Archbishop Stefan, attended the reception that is regularly organized on the occasion of Christmas holidays and his name day – the holiday of the archdeacon and first martyr St. Stefan.
The state leadership attended the Christmas table, i.e. the President of the State, Stevo Pendarovski and the Prime Minister of the Republic of North Macedonia, Zoran Zaev.
The reception took place under strict adherence to the protocols for protection from COVID 19 and was therefore without media presence. 
At the reception, President Xhaferi, as well as other guests, along with the conveyed congratulations for personal health of Archbishop Stefan and longtime performance of the sacred mission as the head of the Orthodox Community in the Republic of North Macedonia, wished in the New Year 2021 to have a better health for all citizens, personal and collective progress, peace, welfare and successful overcoming of the obstacles that prevent the European integration path of the Republic of North Macedonia.
