PRESIDENT XHAFERI DECLARED HONORARY CITIZEN OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF LEZHA
In the framework of the working visit of Mr Talat Xhaferi, President of the Assembly of the Republic of North Macedonia to the Republic of Albania, in addition to meeting the President of the Assembly, Ms Lindita Nikolla, he was awarded the title "Honorary Citizen" of the Municipality of Lezha, as a sign of his distinguished performance in the office of President of the Assembly, which valorizes the Albanian state-building factor in all aspects, for his dedicated political action over the years and his contribution to the preservation of national and patriotic values.
In addition, President Xhaferi's close ties are in the domain of promoting Lezha's tourism, as he is among the dignitaries who regularly spends family vacations in this beautiful city.
The ceremonial awarding of the title was attended by the Speaker Nikolla, the Ambassador of the Republic of Albania to the Republic of North Macedonia, H.E. Fatos Reka, as well as other high guests, friends and acquaintances.
This is President Xhaferi’s second "Honorary Citizen" title, after the first awarded by the City Council of Suha Reka, on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the declaration of independence of the Republic of Kosovo.
