XHAFERI: I WILL BE PRESIDENT OF ALL 120 MEMBERS OF THE ASSEMBLY
Dear Members of the Assembly,
Dear citizens,
Let me thank you for the exceptionally important and responsible office you are entrusting me with - President of the Assembly of the Republic of North Macedonia, Speaker of the Legislative House, the House of the Citizens, thereby letting me know that my past contribution to building a functional institution - an open home for you has been valorized and respected, and this gives me special honour and pleasure.
I want to assure you that my future engagement at the head of the legislature will be in the same direction, but enriched with one more experience, and of course, in different, more favorable conditions for our country, which is now a respected member of the NATO Alliance, and with the adopted negotiating framework with the European Union for acquiring full membership in the European family.
